Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking an appointment or purchasing a voucher. By proceeding with a booking or purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Deposits & Appointments
1.1. Deposits are strictly non-refundable. However, your deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment date, subject to the conditions below.
1.2. A maximum of three (3) reschedules are permitted per deposit. Beyond three reschedules, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book a new appointment.
1.3. Lateness: Clients arriving 15 minutes or more late for their scheduled appointment will be considered a 'no-show'. The artist reserves the right to refuse service to latecomers, and the deposit will be forfeited.
1.4. Touch-Up Appointments: If a client fails to show up for a scheduled touch-up appointment, the complimentary touch-up will be forfeited, and any subsequent touch-ups will be subject to a charge.
2. Design Process
2.1. Design services will not commence until a tattoo appointment has been confirmed and the relevant deposit has been paid.
2.2. The brief for the tattoo design must be confirmed and agreed upon before the deposit is accepted and the appointment is booked.
2.3. No changes to the initial brief are permitted once the deposit has been paid. Significant changes to the brief may require a new deposit and a new appointment booking.
2.4. You are entitled to three (3) revisions of the design per deposit. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
2.5. No finished artwork will be created prior to the appointment. Only a draft or layout will be provided, sufficient to give you a clear understanding of the proposed design.
2.6. Designs will not be sent out digitally. A preview/fitting session can be arranged prior to the tattoo appointment, once the deposit for the tattoo appointment has been paid.

3.1. Gift Vouchers:
a. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.
b. Gift Vouchers are equivalent to cash and can be used as a deposit for a tattoo appointment.
c. Multiple Gift Vouchers can be combined for payment.
d. Gift Vouchers retain their remaining value if the full voucher amount is not used in a single transaction.
3.2. Promotional, Discount, and Giveaway Vouchers:
a. These vouchers cannot be used as a deposit as they hold no monetary value and cannot be used as deposit for booking of appointment.
b. These vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
c. These vouchers typically have specific criteria that must be met for the discount to be applied (e.g., usage within a specific promotional period).
d. These vouchers are usually not allowed to be used in tandem with other discount vouchers or promotions.
e. These vouchers DO NOT retain remainder value if the whole voucher value has not been used up.
4. Refunds
4.1. Tattoos are non-refundable. As a permanent art form and a service tailored specifically to each individual, once the process has begun, it cannot be "returned" or undone. The time and resources invested in the service cannot be refunded.
4.2. We strongly advise clients to ensure they are fully satisfied with the quality of work from their chosen artist's portfolio before proceeding with a tattoo.
5. Client Management
5.1. We reserve the right to record information regarding problem clients, including those with frequent no-shows for consultations or appointments, using internal tagging systems (e.g., on Wix) for administrative purposes.
6. Communication
6.1. A link to these full Terms & Conditions will be sent out with all correspondence, excluding newsletters.
7. Age Restrictions & Identification
7.1. All clients must be a minimum of 18 years old to receive a tattoo.
7.2. Valid photo identification (e.g., passport, driving license) is required from all clients, regardless of apparent age. No exceptions will be made.
7.3. Parental consent for minors is not accepted under any circumstances.
8. Health & Medical Conditions / Consent
8.1. Clients are required to disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications (including over-the-counter), and skin sensitivities prior to their appointment. Failure to disclose accurate information may result in refusal of service or complications, for which the studio will not be liable.
8.2. The studio reserves the right to refuse service if a disclosed medical condition or medication poses a risk to the client or artist, or if proper disclosure is not made.
8.3. All clients will be required to sign a consent form acknowledging the risks associated with tattooing, understanding the permanence of the tattoo, and confirming their receipt and understanding of aftercare instructions.
8.4. Tattooing services will not be provided to individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or appear to be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
9. Client Responsibilities (Pre- and Post-Tattoo)
9.1. Pre-Appointment: Clients are advised to ensure they are well-rested, have eaten a substantial meal, and are well-hydrated prior to their tattoo session. Avoid consuming alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
9.2. Aftercare: Proper aftercare is crucial for the healing process and the longevity of your tattoo. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided. Failure to follow these instructions may adversely affect the outcome of your tattoo and may invalidate any complimentary touch-up offers.
9.3. Honesty: It is the client's responsibility to provide accurate and truthful information on all consent forms and during consultations.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1. The artist retains full copyright and intellectual property rights over all tattoo designs created by them, even after the design has been tattooed on the client.
10.2. Designs are created for personal use only and may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without the artist's express written permission.
11. Pricing & Payment
11.1. All artists at the studio have their own individual rates, which are typically calculated hourly or by a day rate. Guest artists may have different pricing structures.
11.2. Clients are encouraged to enquire about the estimated price before the commencement of the tattooing procedure.
11.3. The full balance for the tattoo, minus any deposit already paid, is due upon completion of the session.

12.1. The studio may photograph your tattoo for portfolio, promotional, or social media purposes.
12.2. Clients can opt out of being tagged on social media by indicating their preference on the disclaimer form signed before the commencement of the tattooing procedure.
13. Right to Refuse Service
13.1. In addition to lateness (as per clause 1.3), the artist and studio reserve the right to refuse service to any client at any point if:
a. The client exhibits abusive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour towards staff or other clients.
b. The client appears to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
c. The client's hygiene is deemed unsatisfactory.
d. The tattoo request is deemed offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory, or violates any legal or ethical guidelines.
e. The client fails to comply with any of the studio's policies or instructions.
f. The artist feels unable to complete the requested tattoo to their professional standard or due to unforeseen circumstances.
13.2. In such cases, any deposit paid may be forfeited at the discretion of the studio.
14. Disclaimer of Guarantees
14.1. While our artists strive to achieve the highest quality and precision, individual tattoo healing results can vary significantly. Factors such as individual body chemistry, adherence to aftercare instructions, and lifestyle choices can influence the final appearance and longevity of the tattoo.
14.2. Tattoos are a form of hand-crafted art, and while every effort is made to ensure perfection, minor imperfections are a natural possibility. The studio does not guarantee perfect healing or exact replication of digital mock-ups, as the final result is subject to the unique characteristics of the client's skin and healing process.
15. Complaints Procedure

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
16.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
